Resumen

Las Plataformas de Financiamiento Fintech (PFFs) han revolucionado la forma en que se otorgan créditos a nivel mundial, generando un gran interés por su estudio. En este sentido, se realizó un artículo de revisión, cuyo objetivo es describir el estado actual de la investigación científica sobre las PFFs, a través de la recuperación de documentos científicos de impacto y de autores prolíficos en el tema.


Entre los principales hallazgos se identifica que ha iniciado la ola de investigación con evidencia empírica, aunque escasa del tipo cuantitativo, limitándose al análisis de un reducido número de PFFs de Estados Unidos y China. Con ello, salen a la luz diferencias entre estos dos países, centradas en el tipo de datos que exponen a los inversionistas, los inversionistas, la homogeneidad entre PFFs y el enfoque de investigación.


Asimismo, se observan más artículos enfocados hacia las PFFs que satisfacen el consumo, sin embargo se visualizan algunos estudios empíricos, sobre otras, cuyo objetivo es financiar empresas o proyectos, esto en la región Europea. Finalmente, los científicos enfatizan que las variables que tienen mayor incidencia en el crecimiento de las PFFs son la incorporación tecnológica y la posición privilegiada en el tema de regulación..
